So it's early, it's balls ass early... i played a gig till 12:15 last night, and here it is 6 o'clock and my ass is out of bed... just to drive a few blocks away from where i was last night... you know why? Because i need to play brasillian jazz... ohh yeah, you heard me, i'm sitting here with my coffee filled with irish creme, eating scrambled eggs with duck sauce on them... and getting ready to go blow my horn like a brasiallian... I'm particularly excited because we are playing The girl from impenema... now i realize you are thinking, what is so special about The girl from impenema... nothing particuarly, except that the client we are playing it for is a girl from impanema... ohh well, it was exciting for me

On a similar note... if you find someone, who loves you enough to not only leave their element to come support what you do... but does it late ass at night, and gets up rediculously early to make you coffee because your prone to saying yes when people want you to play brasilian jazz at eight o'clock in the morning... That is a person worth keeping...

now it's rare i take any stock in sermons... however... last week part of one caught my attention... the pastor said... if you're with someone you love for any period of time... you are going to get hurt. And how true that is... similar to bachman's friends as inconvienece theory/thingy, you are going to get hurt worse by the people you care for the most... it's just natural... now... that being said he went on to stress the importance of forgiveness because of this fact... and I couldn't agree more... If you are with someone whom claims to love you... but they are incapable of forgiveness... pack your bags son, it ain't workin'...
