So, after spending a delightful night, morning and early afternoon in Maryland with Jancie... zipping up 83, my left front tire exploded. YAY, So i jacked 'er up. Took the tire off... and my jack sank into the mud and collapased. So, it being a nice day... i laid out a mat and practiced saxophone, and read some alice in wonderland... along the highway.. made a few calls...

half an hour later i was helped by a fine member of maryland's transportation department, who helped jack my car up, allowing me to put the spare on.

Frankly, it kind of sucked... but... really, it was such a nice day... and Janice's mix of music was so cheerful. It just couldn't spoil such a nice day.
