So I'm teaching myself Mandarin Chinese... written and spoken... Those of you whom I told I was learning Cantonese... well, i was, but i had to change my plans... A)Cantonese is harder to learn... B)Mandarin is the official laungage of china, and more people in the world speak mandarin than english.. so there you go... plus material to work from seems to be easier to find in mandarin... maybe one day I will know them both... but that day is somewhere FAR in the future. Here's to hopein... cheers
