Wow haven't made an actual informative update in awhile. Things are good in Stief world. Played an absolutally awsome gig at Mitrani at home yesterday, it was a private party for fancy rich folks.. but they seemed to really like us, and we had alot of fun (we'll me and aaron had alot of fun, erik doesn't like fun, it's unprofessional haha) There is a rite aid there, and lets just say the old lady working behind the counter was very strange, she said she was tired and wouldn't stop talking to us, she asked aaron three times what kind of cigarettes he wanted, and our 20 minute break was quickly cut down to 5.... crazy ass rite aid lady.
I'm slowly getting more and more excited about our gig on the 23rd, at the Appalachian Brewing Company... the place holds 600 people... I don't know if i've ever played for such a potentially big crowd.. plus alot of friends talking about coming.. and that always makes a gig more fun... trust me, if your not there you're going to miss some awsome shit..
It's such a nice snowy friday afternoon, so far this week i've made 11 different kinds of cookies, and when i get some more sugar i'm going to keep going. Actually i'm kind of anxious for the weekend to be over... it may be something, or it may be nothing... but that's a story for another time perhaps...
Grandma Sweigart (my best friend's grandmother) is in pretty rough shape, and she may only have a couple of weeks left.. it's really sad, i grew up around her and will miss her quite a bit.. the only upside is, her family has all made it back into town to be with her, so it'll be nice to see all of them again. it's just unfortunate it has to be under such crappy circumstances.
Anyway, there is so much beauty in the world.. so i recommend you walk outside and take a look.. it's really nice :) if your having trouble seeing it, give me a call.
Peace, Love, keep in touch.
